Welcome! I’m Justin Luis Diaz, a farmer, chef, maker, and educator on the VA Peninsula. My goal is to leverage my passion and skillsets in ways that enrich and benefit the communities in which we all live and work - I consider this the immutable core of Sustainability. All are truly Welcome at my table. If you work with food and people - from seed, to plate, to market- I want to work with you, and you want to work with me, too. Rooted in a printmaking background, Justin embraces the interplay between agricultural history, foodways, and world history, creating uniquely impactful twists on small scale agriculture, sustainability, and farm to table dining. His passion and drive create agricultural and culinary experiences that radiate out through every single seed, plate, relationship, and project.
A living commitment to advancing small scale sustainable farming, environmental and ecological stewardship, sustainable agritourism, and service-based leadership are all proud extensions of his work. Justin is dedicated to creating environments that support our critical and human connections; environments that are both inclusive and welcoming to all.
